A real person building real websites, not a faceless agency

I'm Louis White. I've spent over 15 years building websites, and I've run White Design & Media since 2014. AIwebguy is the same person you'd email, plan with and launch with. There's no account manager passing your job around an office, and no agency markup sitting on top of it. When you work with me you get one experienced pair of hands from York to your finished site, sped up by AI so the price stays sensible.

One person, start to finish

From the first call to launch day, it's me on your project the whole way. I take the brief, sketch the plan, write the words, build the pages and press go. Nothing gets handed to a junior you never meet, and nothing gets lost in a chain of emails between departments. That's the bit most people quietly want and rarely get: a straight answer from the person actually doing the work. Ring the number on this site and I'm the one who picks up, every time.

Years of doing this for real

I was building websites before half the page builders people lean on today even existed. My own web work goes back over 15 years, and I've run White Design & Media since 2014, so I've watched the trends come and go and I know what actually holds up. That experience is the difference between a site that looks fine for a month and one that keeps bringing you work for years. You're not paying me to learn on your project.

White Design & Media, my studio since 2014

AIwebguy is the web-build side of White Design & Media, the studio I have run since 2014. Long before AI came along to speed up the slow parts, I was designing brands, websites and print for businesses of every size. Over the years that has meant work for names like Fox Racing, IBM, Boardsport Source and JAS Land Rovers, alongside a long line of independent firms such as Gardham Steel Framed Buildings, Acacia Capital and Support Solutions Home Care. Big brand or one-person outfit, the standard is the same. That back catalogue is the reason a fresh name like AIwebguy is not a fresh pair of hands, and you can browse the wider design history at louiswhite.co.uk.

The human plus AI story

AI is the reason I can build for around £2,000 something a typical agency would put a five-figure price on. It takes the slow, repetitive graft out of a build, the bits that used to eat days, so I spend my time on the parts that need a human: the strategy, the writing, the design decisions and getting you found on Google. The quality doesn't drop. The hours do, and that saving goes to you, not into a fancier office.

Why you can trust a new name

AIwebguy is a fresh brand, but the work behind it isn't. You can see real, finished sites in the portfolio: OH Works for accident and paintwork repair in the Cotswolds, Support Solutions in home care, Brammer Construction here in Yorkshire, and Woodcraft for oak framed buildings and joinery down in North Devon. Same builder, same standard. Older sites I built under White Design & Media have been quietly ranking for years too, like staygopremium.co.uk, which sits on page one across the UK for most of its services, and Sonyx Audio Visual, on page one locally. My full design history lives at louiswhite.co.uk if you want the longer track record.

Based in York, building across the UK

York is home and where I'm based, so I know the local market inside out: the trades, the shops, the care providers all chasing the same handful of searches. But the work is done remotely and my clients are spread right across the country, from a bodyshop in the Cotswolds to a home care provider working across several regions and a joinery firm down in North Devon. Wherever you are, you get the same experienced pair of hands and the same fixed price. If you are a local York business, even better, I understand your patch and write your site to rank for the people who can actually walk through your door.

Found for free, not propped up by ads

Every site I build is set up to be found on Google and recommended by AI search from day one, so you shouldn't have to keep feeding a paid ads budget just to get seen. SEO isn't a bolt-on extra here, it's baked into how the page is written and structured. That's the whole point: a website that earns its keep quietly in the background while you get on with the job.

Common questions

Who actually builds my website?

Me, Louis White, from start to finish. You won't be passed to an account manager or a junior. The person you first speak to is the same person who designs, writes and launches your site.

How long have you been building websites?

Over 15 years personally, and I've run White Design & Media since 2014. AIwebguy is a newer brand, but the experience and the finished work behind it go back well over a decade.

Does using AI mean my site is lower quality?

No. AI only speeds up the slow, repetitive parts of a build. The strategy, design, writing and SEO are still done by an experienced human. You get the same standard of site for around £2,000 rather than the five figures an agency would bill.

Where are you based, and who do you work with?

I'm based in York, and I build for clients right across the UK. My name, phone number, email and legal trading name (White Design & Media) are all on the site, along with real examples of finished work, from a bodyshop in the Cotswolds to a joinery firm in North Devon.

Can I see proof of your previous work?

Of course. The portfolio shows real sites I've built, including OH Works, Support Solutions and Brammer Construction. You can also see my wider design history at louiswhite.co.uk.

Ready for a website that gets you found?

Tell me about your business and I will send a fixed price. No sales call before you see a number.
